Is it possible to create a build for .NET 4.0

Jun 25, 2010 at 2:48 AM

Due to System.Web.Routing being bundled into System.Web in .NET 4.0, the current version doesn't work in 4.0 projects.

A build targeted the 4.0 platform would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The current build support both .NET 3.5 and .net 4. What issue you are facing with the current build?

My apologies.

I had read that System.Web.Routing had been bundled into System.Web in .NET 4.0 so I didn't think a reference to System.Web.Routing.dll was required and was getting the following errors

'MVCSpike.Core.Web.BootstrapperTask.ConfigureRoutes.Register(System.Web.Routing.RouteCollection)': no suitable method found to override
'MVCSpike.Core.Web.BootstrapperTask.ConfigureRoutes' does not implement inherited abstract member 'MvcExtensions.RegisterRoutesBase.Register(System.Web.Routing.RouteCollection)'

Adding a reference to .NET 4.0 System.Web.Routing.dll fixed the issue however I am still unsure what the purpose of this assembly is.

Thanks
